Citizenship Awards

2009 GOOD CITIZENSHIP AWARDS

About the Awards
Each year, the 7th Police District Advisory Council recognizes students from throughout the District who maintain a grade point average of 3.0 ("B" equivalent) or higher and participate in a volunteer community service. Each school in the District is asked to nominate one graduating student for this award. The awards are presented at commencement exercises.

This year the nominated students each received a certificate of good citizenship along with a $50 gift card to Target* stores. This years recipients are posted below.

It is our pleasure to recognize students who are the leaders of tomorrow.

Hello my name is Rachel Rose Sobel. I was honored enough for you to award me with the Good Citizenship Award. I would like to thank you and my family would like to thank you for giving me this award. This award made my graduation day even more special than it already was. I would also like to thank you for the gift card to Target that help me purchase my brand new Cellular Phone. This is the first time my volunteer work at Pegasus Riding Academy has noticed by someone outside my family. Yet again, I would like to thank you for honoring me with the Good Citizenship award.
